Maurice Mallia
Mr.
Mallia is a registered professional engineer, licensed in 18 states. Mr.
Mallia has been practicing structural engineering since 1980. During this
time, he has designed commercial, educational, industrial, institutional,
municipal, and residential buildings, as well as performed forensic studies
of collapsed structures. Mr. Mallia has been involved in the restoration
of many historic buildings and the renovation of various schools and residences.
Mr. Mallia holds a Bachelors of Arts in Chemistry, a Bachelors
of Architecture, and a Masters in Structural Engineering from the University
of Tennessee, Knoxville.
Prior to starting Mallia Engineering Company in 1990,
Mr. Mallia was employed by the Tennessee Valley Authority, Lockwood-Greene,
and was co-founder of Denark-Smith Engineers and Contractors.
Mr. Mallia is a board member of the City of Knoxville
Building Board of Adjustments and Appeals, a member of the American Concrete
Institute, the Construction Specification Institute, the American Institute
of Steel Construction, the Masonry Institute of Tennessee, the Tilt Up
Concrete Institute, and the Southern Building Code Congress.

Kevin B.
Westervelt - Engineer
Mr.
Westervelt is a Registered Professional Engineer in 3 states and a licensed
Structural Engineer in Illinois. For over 24 years, Mr. Westervelt has
been engaged in the practice of structural project engineering, forensic
evaluations of buildings, and design of industrial, commercial and institutional
facilities. He has extensive experience in the design and construction
of industrial buildings and served as a lead civil site engineer on several
heavy industrial projects. Mr. Westervelt holds a B. S. degree in Civil
Engineering from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. Most recently,
he has completed thirteen (13) courses as part of the graduate Environmental
Engineering Program at the University of Tennessee (Knoxville campus)
Evening School. This course work includes a concentration in water/wastewater
treatment and industrial waste remediation.
Prior to joining Mallia Engineering Company, he was employed
at Sargent & Lundy Engineers (Chicago, IL) and Raythem Engineers and Constructors
(Philadelphia, PA). Mr. Westervelt is a member of the American Concrete
Institute and the American Society of Civil Engineers. He has been a structural
project engineer with Mallia Engineering Company since 1996.

Garrie L. Davis
- Designer
Mr.
Davis has over 24 years of design background to include 16 years experience
with computer-aided design (CAD) of structural and architectural design
disciplines along with 9 years experience in structural design and layout.
He is proficient with the AUTOCAD, INTERGRAPH and CADVANCE software packages.
Mr. Davis has also functioned as a construction project manager and provided
design document preparation and oversight for major medical facility,
commercial and industrial construction projects and renovations.
Mr. Davis was previously employed at the University of
Tennessee Medical Center and ENPRO, Inc. before joining Mallia Engineering
Company. He has been an associate of Mallia Engineering Company for over
9 years.

Kathleen T.
Scrudder - Draftsperson
Ms.
Scrudder has 3 years of Computer Aided Drafting experience. She graduated
from Tennessee Technology Center with a diploma in Structural, Mechanical,
and Architectural drafting. While Ms. Scrudder was in school she learned
and was proficient with AutoCAD version 12, 13, and 14. Since joining
Mallia Engineering Company, Ms. Scrudder has been responsible for drafting
construction and design documents. She has also been responsible for helping
layout design standards for the Company. Ms. Scrudder was employed at
Plasti-Line before joining Mallia Engineering Company.

Patsy R. Shattuck
Mrs.
Shattuck has been an employee of Mallia Engineering Company for 3 1/2
years. Patsy's duties include secretarial, purchasing and ordering supplies,
filing, making bank deposits and pick-up and delivery of shop drawings
to our clients. Mrs. Shattuck also inputs the data needed for all new
incoming projects. Mrs. Shattuck was previously employed in various fields
of the medical profession.
